Mechanic day shift
Wat ga je doen?
You and your team are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is ready to hit the road. How do you do that? You can read that below.
After a short team meeting, you pack your things and go to your workplace.
What are you going to do?
- when the vehicles come in, you look at what still needs to be done, this differs per vehicle
- you make a diagnosis and discuss this with your boss
- you are going to test all parts, something does not work, then you are going to repair this
- you make adjustments, this can be replacing a light or repairing a drive system
- you fix electrical faults
- you are going to build the climate system and the drive system
- you are going to make sure that parts in the bus function properly
- you think along with improvements and report them to the chef-workshop
This is just a small selection of the work. In a personal conversation we will tell you all about it. You will be trained by the chief.
Waar ga je werken?
You will work in Deurne, close to Helmond. The company is accessible from Eindhoven, Weert, Venray and Someren. It is a modern technical company. They make several large vehicles here. And with success.
When you step inside you immediately see that the construction is being worked on in small groups. Each team deals with a specific part. This is how you all make the end product. You will work in the last department. Your colleagues have built the complete vehicle. Now it's up to you and your team that the vehicle works and get tested. All electrical parts in this vehicle are tested one by one. When something doesn't work, you're going to fix it.
Your workplace is a large hall where several vehicles are parked. You work with about 7 colleagues in a team. A number of colleagues have been working there for a while and will take you along in the process. Because of your experience in automotive technology, the work is not strange to you.
You work here from 07:00 to 16:00, from Monday to Friday. It is a full-time job and permanent work.
Wie ben je?
