Wat ga je doen?

For the location of DHL in Amersfoort we are looking for warehouse employees. This is possible in two different shifts: from 17.00 to 00.00 and from 02.15 to 08.00. The warehouse is open from Monday to Friday. You can choose which days and in which shift you want to work. We are also looking for people who can work part-time (2 or 3 days).

As a warehouse employee you work on the sorting belt. You sort different kinds of boxes. These boxes are sometimes only a few pounds, but can also add up to 25 pounds. Therefore, it is important to understand that this is a physical job. You may also have to remove boxes from trucks. You have to put these boxes on the then on the sorting belt so that your colleagues can sort them.

As mentioned, there are two shifts: 17:00 to 00:00 and 02:15 to 08:00. On a weekly basis, you will work between 25 and 30 hours. It is also possible to work only a few days. Apply to this vacancy and then we will discuss together the best options in a meaningful interview.

Waar ga je werken?

The warehouse of this location of DHL is in Amersfoort. It's in the Northern part of the city. It's easy if you have your own transport to come to the location. If you are using public transport you can travel via the station Amersfoort Schothorst. Keep in mind that from the location of DHL till the station it's 15 minutes walking. If you are working in the evening shift, it can be possible to stop earlier to get your last bus of train. You can discuss this with the planner.

For your car of bike there is a free parking spot available. Inside the warehouse there is a great new cantine. There is free coffee or tea and there are possibility's to buy a snack or drink.

Wie ben je?

• You can speak Dutch or English on a basic level;
• It's possible for you to work in the evening or night shift;
• Physical work isn't a problem for you;
• You can get a certificate of good conduct. This will be paid by Olympia;

Wat mag je verwachten?

• If you are 21 years or older the following wages are for you:
  Between 06.00 and 18.00: 12,50 per hour
  Between 18.00 and 20.00: 14.06 per hour
  Between 20.00 and 00.00: 15,62 per hour
  Between 00.00 and 06.00: 16.25 per hour ( During the weekend it is 18,75 per hour)
• Are you younger than 21? Please ask our recruiter for your wages.
• Travel cost starting from 5 kilometers. In that case you receive 3,41 each day.
• Holiday pay off 8% for every working hour (0,82 per hour at least)
• Vacation days off 10% for every working hour (1,03 per hour at least)
• After 26 weeks you will start with a basic pension plan;
• You will start with a temporary contract from Olympia, but there are options for a contract at DHL
