Wat ga je doen?

Are you looking for a job at a manufacturing company with varied responsibilities? This is a position as an operator working in a 5-shift rotation in the packaging department. In this role, you’ll work as a production worker in a 5-shift rotation at a company in Ittervoort. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Operating the (packaging) machine and troubleshooting malfunctions during the packaging process;
  • Operating the mixer, where raw materials are blended;
  • Working in accordance with HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety;
  • Restocking products using a forklift.

You will work in a 5-shift rotation, with the following schedules: 1:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m., 9:45 p.m. – 6:15 a.m., 5:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. (8,5 hours per day).

You can work in various roles, including loader, mixer, filler, and packer. You’ll learn all of this on the job. 

Waar ga je werken?


You’ll be working for a company that specializes in animal feed. The company is highly automated, and the machinery is modern. The work atmosphere is open and informal, and colleagues work as a team. The temperature in the workplace can vary from cold to warm, and there are approximately 70 employees at the Ittervoort location. Over time, in addition to your own department, you’ll also help out in other departments more often as needed.

The company is easily accessible from cities such as Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas, Stein, and Sittard-Geleen.

Wie ben je?

  • MBO-level work and thinking skills, preferably in the field of food or engineering. Do you happen to have experience in the food industry? Then you have an edge!;
  • Experience operating machinery;
  • You are fluent in Dutch or English for safety regulations;
  • You have an eye for detail, and you’re also flexible and able to handle stress.

Do you have a forklift certification? That’s a definite plus!

Wat mag je verwachten?

  • A competitive salary, based on knowledge and experience;
  • A 28% shift differential for every hour worked;
  • Travel allowance of €0.22 per kilometer (for distances of 10 kilometers or more);
  • A year-end bonus of 6% on top of your hourly wage;
  • Pension contributions starting from day one (through Stipp);
  • Work clothes and work shoes are provided;
  • You’ll start with a contract through Olympia, with the intention of being hired directly by the client if you’re a good fit, with the prospect of permanent employment.
