We’re looking for a forklift operator/production worker for the 5-shift system at a leading animal feed manufacturer in Ittervoort. In this role, you’ll be responsible for mixing meat with other raw materials and ingredients to create the correct composition for the final product. You’ll work with a mixing system and a forklift.
What will you be doing?
- Operating a forklift to transport and move raw materials;
- Operating mixing equipment to create the correct mixtures;
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment;
- Recording production data;
- Identifying and reporting deviations in the process.
You’ll work in 5 shifts, with the following work hours: 1:45 p.m. – 10:15 p.m., 9:45 p.m. – 6:15 a.m., 5:45 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. You’ll work 8.5 hours a day and be paid for 8 hours. You’ll work 6 days in a row and then have 4 days off. To ensure you’re properly trained, you may start in the day shift.
Waar ga je werken?
You will be working for a company specializing in animal feed. The company is highly automated and equipped with modern machinery. The work environment is open and informal, with colleagues who work together as a team. The temperature in the workplace can vary from cold to warm; in this position, you will primarily be working in the freezer room. There are approximately 70 employees at the Ittervoort location.
The company is easily accessible from cities such as Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas, Stein, and Sittard-Geleen.
Wie ben je?
- You have a valid forklift operator's license and proven experience;
- You speak Dutch or English;
- You are available full-time for the 5-shift schedule.
Wat mag je verwachten?
- A gross monthly salary between €2,600 and €3,190, depending on your knowledge and experience;
- A 28% shift differential on every hour worked due to shift work;
- Travel allowance of €0.22 per kilometer (for distances of 10 kilometers or more);
- A year-end bonus of 6% on top of your hourly wage;
- Pension contributions starting from day one (through Stipp);
- Work clothes and work shoes are provided;
- You’ll start with a contract through Olympia, with the intention of being hired directly by the client if you’re a good fit, with the prospect of permanent employment.
